1 1/4 hour to Lake Placid

FROM THE SOUTH -  take interstate 87 north to exit 24 Albany.  Follow signs to Glens Falls-Montreal, this will put you on 1-87 Adirondack Northway.  Take to exit 23  (Warrensburg-Bolton Landing).  Left off exit to route 9 make right.  Go through town of Warrensburg 4 miles to blinking light.  At light make left on Route 28, continue on 28 for 20 miles.  You will see signs for North Creek.  Continue 5 more miles to North River.  Make a left at 13th Lake Rd. (small store on left). IF YOU GO UP A LONG MOUNTAIN YOU HAVE GONE TOO FAR. 1 mile make left on Harvey Rd. (firehouse on right), make an immediate left on School House Rd.  House (cream colored with green trim) is 1/2 mile on right.  Cedarwood B&B  
 

FROM THE NORTH - take 1-87 Adirondack Northway to exit 26 (Pottersville).  Follow signs to Gore Ski Mountain.  In North Creek make a right on 28. 5 miles to North River.  Make a left at 13th Lake Rd. (small store on left). IF YOU GO UP A LONG MOUNTAIN YOU HAVE GONE TOO FAR 1 mile make left on Harvey Rd. (firehouse on right), make an immediate left on School House Rd.  House (cream colored with green trim) is 1/2 mile on right.  Cedarwood B&B

FROM UTICA, NY and WEST-From I-90 (NYS Thruway), Exit 31 (Routes 8/12 north)
Go north on Rt. 8 to Speculator, NY. (63 mi.) Turn left (Rt. 30 north). Go exactly 18 miles toward Indian Lake. Make  right on to Route 28 south. From Route 28 go approximately  14 miles (you will go down a long steep hill) make right on 13th Lake road at small corner store.  1 mile make left on Harvey Road (firehouse on right), make an immediate left on School House Rd.  House  (cream colored with green trim) is 1/2 mile on right. Cedarwood B&B
