The Adirondackˆ Sacandaga River Sculpture Park is a single artist designed park featuring the work of internationally recognized sculptor John Van Alstine. The 8 acre parcel is nestled along the banks of the historic Sacandaga River, in the quaint hamlet of Wells, NY located in south central section of the Adirondack State Park. The grounds, once part of a 19th century wood products mill, are wonderful landscaped showcasing an ongoing, changing exhibition of the sculpture of John Van Alstine, whose work is held in many national collection including of the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Smithsonian Institution.
